I began my design process by researching various logo designs, layouts and fonts that appealed to me. I then narrowed down the aspects from each that I preferred. I found this to be extremely beneficial in establishing a variety of diverse designs.

Whilst the sixth design was the one I selected for my final concept, it surprisingly was not my favourite. The logo I loved was the fifth design which included the paint brush and scratchy paint strokes. However I felt that the overall effect of this logo came across as childish, giving the impression of an arts and crafts show like ‘Art Attack’. This was not the mood I was hoping to achieve so instead I have chosen the more professional approach of the sixth design.

From this point I intend to recreate this design digitally in Adobe Illustrator.
